Bay Area Physics Club
What do we do?
Who are we?
The Burlingame Physics Club is currently run by Romer Rosales-Hasek, a senior who has a passion for both math and physics. Romer is involved in at Burlingame Highschool through other clubs - math and chess - and enjoys competitively running cross country and track for his school.
The Physics Club at Burlingame High School is open to any grade level, and it normally has around 5-10 people each meeting.
Anyone can join the physics club by simply coming to Mr Balmy's room (D205) on Tuesdays during Lunch . During meetings, we discuss physics topics that interest us while doing experiments. Fortunately, no physics experience is necessary for our meetings as many of the experiments are accessible to all levels - and they're really cool either way!
Speakers: For this school year, Burlingame and Berkeley physics clubs will be combining to have frequent talks (mostly through zoom). Past Burlingame speakers include: Matthew Walker and Bogdan Kustowski.
