Bay Area Physics Club
Who are we?
The Berkeley Physics Club currently has two co-presidents, Alessandra Ionescu-Zanetti and Anoushka Chitnis. They are both seniors at Berkeley High School who love learning physics! Anoushka and Alessandra are both involved in sports at BHS, Anoushka being on the JV soccer team and Alessandra participating in Track and Field.
Members of the Physics Club range from freshmen to seniors, and have many unique interests aside from physics. At an average meeting, we are 8-15 people.
The Physics Club meets every Wednesday at 3:30 pm. We can usually be found in the G-building, either in Mr. Pabico's room fetching supplies, in the shop, or in another science teacher's classroom.
Speakers:
We often have speakers, depending on their availability and our schedule. Past speakers include Marta Volonteri, Yuping Huang, Christian Bauer, Peggy Norris, Bob Jacobsen, James Chinn, Jennifer Doudna, and more!
Cloud Chamber:
